    Once upon a time, I kept a LiveJournal account, gryphons_hole, a deep, dark, comfy little hole in my brain where I kept notes on my life and queerness.

    This is the archive to that account, mostly password protected, adult, queer content, stripped of photo content after the site restructured its photo hosting feature. I hope to restore that content as well.

  • nosh

    The heat has arrived. Although I am surviving well as yet without running the AC, it is beginning to affect my eating habits. I now struggle to cook anything of note, since the idea of adding heat is too heavy on my mind.

    Instead I turn to nosh plates, as I like to call them. I vary my grocery shopping enough that they always vary, so redundancy is not an issue.

    Today’s nosh:

    hummus with green onion, cilantro and paprika
    spinach and artichoke dip
    cambozola and Dutch farmhouse cheese with multigrain/rice flour crackers
    sweet red peppers and snap peas

    with water to drink

    Filling and refreshing.

    There is currently also a great olive oil/rosemary cracker in the cracker tin, both come from Costco.

    Maybe someday, I will undergo pore treatments. Wow! That macro feature shows everything… Who knew I had hairs on my nose…?

    <kumazuki> has been up since Thursday night, along with another friend from Wichita. Today was about consumerism: starting with a swap meet with the bikers over in Independence; then Big Lots!; then Cargo Largo, which was entirely overwhelming… I had to pass on the herringbone cover-alls that actually fit me (for 25 bucks) and move up to the two cigar cases for ten bucks a piece… Priorities. The day wrapped up with dinner at Chipotle, drinks in leather at Daddy’s and late night grub at YJ’s… <jaycifier> joined us for the last two, among others. Always glad to see/touch/spit beer on/beat him.

    Yay!

    Oh! For those awaiting the code breaker for yesterday’s photo: the phrase that pays is “Giggle like a Japanese school girl.”
