    Once upon a time, I kept a LiveJournal account, gryphons_hole, a deep, dark, comfy little hole in my brain where I kept notes on my life and queerness.

    This is the archive to that account, mostly password protected, adult, queer content, stripped of photo content after the site restructured its photo hosting feature. I hope to restore that content as well.

    If I know you, ask for the password. If I don’t, hope for a generous mood.

    08.18.24 I have realized a need to continue in this space. A kink reawaking if you will, with content that may range into inappropriate for my other blog spaces.

    Sunday Style was posted in the most timely sense in months. Except I forget to open the post. I have my journal set to default to private posts, so I won’t post filtered entries incorrectly. Now, to just remember to change the privacy setting afterward.

  • sunday style – the keeping warm edition

    Today at the DAV was all about the sweaters.

    Now, I have grown to avoid woolen things while thrifting. I have too often brought them home to find series of moth holes in them. Search as I might, I could never see them while in the store. So I grew weary of it. (Although I have saved the neatest of the bunch to give my hand at darning…) Today brought to me four wonderful sweaters, ranging from a quarter to two bucks. I searched, and I searched. Then, I searched some more. hands up the sleeves, wandering about the garment with my fingers… not one single moth hole. Perhaps they come from storing in the back through the summer months. Who can say.

    I bought them all. All four.

    I would prefer wool, but the right weight and feel in cotton will do well for me. A couple are a wool and nylon blend. Not sure where that came from, but they don’t pill, which is my biggest concern about synthetic fibers in sweaters.

    This one above is a warm grey, almost a mustard in color. It gives a hint of military styling, so I brought back the fantastic military pants I found some time ago, that were featured previously in Sunday Style. (WARNING: Some of those images get a wee bit naughty.) Back also are the fourteen eye oxblood lace-ups.

    Well, at least not according to where I have slept. Mostly, I slept here, being able to finagle some hotties into visiting. (OMGs, I just used the word, hotties…)
