welcome to the hole

Once upon a time, I kept a LiveJournal account, gryphons_hole, a deep, dark, comfy little hole in my brain where I kept notes on my life and queerness.
This is the archive to that account, mostly password protected, adult, queer content, stripped of photo content after the site restructured its photo hosting feature. I hope to restore that content as well.
If I know you, ask for the password. If I don’t, hope for a generous mood.
08.18.24 I have realized a need to continue in this space. A kink reawaking if you will, with content that may range into inappropriate for my other blog spaces.

Yes, yes, all of your specialists are busy… surely they are busy screwing other customers out of their timely med shipments. Now, please, just shut the fuck up and let me listen to the damned music until someone is available…
Bastards.
EDIT: Yes, yes, thank you for sitting on the payment and not automatically sending the next shipment… You know, the shipment I have been checking on for a week. Yes, you have a great day, too.
Thank the gods for friends that keep their unneeded pills…

Dr. Sketchy’s truly was the saving grace of my Sunday. Holy Hell.
For the shit that hit yesterday dealing with the aftermath, I felt great Sunday night, on the stage and basking with the host and the lingering inner circle afterward. I was lit up, even if it turns out that I am not as skinny as I had impressions to think… It would appear that I need to study my body in certain poses a bit more… LOLThese photos were taken by kumazuki; some with his camera (Canon Sureshot), some with mine (Panasonic Lumix).
This was the first costume; it was a fifteen minute pose. It flew passed. The biggest thing to consider was the lollipop against my open mouth. I thought certainly the drool would be caking the beard by the end of the time. Luckily I do a fair impression of a mouth-breather…
cut for size and suggestive costumes, but nothing blatant… -

sunday style – what to wear to a big gay wedding edition
Please pardon the format. I have posted from three different computers since arriving in Louisville and each one has reacted to my standard settings on LJ… Bah. Back home tomorrow.
Beyond, today was incredible. The food, the house, the happy couple, the food, the desserts, the food that was desserts…
OMGs! Did I mention the food…? Photos of the event when I get back to KCMO.
I cannot seem to get my gallery pages to let me link to the images to insert them in a post, as I said…
so here is the link to the gallery. Perhaps, I will fix it upon my return. The sport coat is wool/silk/linen blend by Jos. A. Bank. The linen content is only twelve percent, but – oh boy! – it makes itself known! I love the jacket. It is soft to the touch, comfortable and warm enough for the lightweight, but it needs a touch of steam between each wearing. The vest is linen by DKNY. This I don’t mind, without sleeves or pantlegs, linen doesn’t wrinkle much. LOL
For a pasty Irishman that is terrified of wearing ed, I have many deep red to burgundy ties these days. They often offer a perfect contrast. This weekend was no exception. I gave my sister the choice of ties; one with monochromatic leanings for the rest of the assemble and the one pictured. Hint: that sister will always go for the red. I didn’t mind. The tie is silk by Calvin Klein, just recently brought home from the DAV Thrift.
I do wish the shirt didn’t have a buttoned collar. I miss the chance to use ornamentation, but I love the pale chartreuse color. The trousers were the trusty Brooks Brothers dark grey wool trousers, with braces. The shoes, a great clunky style which suits me well, as Sears Diehard steel-toe shoes of all things. I love them; a bit goth perhaps, comfortable and just cool enough in their mass and line.
Outside of my family, most of the guests that I have met previously haven’t seen me since most of my weight loss. For the new readers, that would be sixty pounds over almost four years. The compliments flowed freely. So much of the crowd looked smashing. Those photos coming soon, as well.
I’ve decided to make this week a special week-long Sunday Style segment, featuring the craziness of Dr. Sketchy’s.
Stay tuned!

kitchen pr0n
I am in Louisville, at my sister’s place. The commitment ceremony between her and her partner is tomorrow. The place is looking sweet as can be, even if the stress levels are a bit higher than normal. They are well organized and on task. All you sharply scheduled, organization freaks out there would be proud. They have done a ton-load of work on the house since I was here last (a year ago Christmas, I think)…
A ton-load.
I walked into the kitchen and realized that I need to take photos to share with all you foodies out there. It’s a porn set for food prep. Hot.
The appliances are all GE’s monogram series; top stuff. A fortunate advantage to my sister’s years at GE in various positions. The delivery happened just minutes before she announced her departure. *whew* This detail is the controls of the gas stovetop. The oven, around the corner, is the lowest appliance in the kitchen at mid thigh; certainly a nice feature from my viewpoint of the world.
Above the stove is the Advantium oven; a sweet thing. It combines confection cooking with microwave. I believe that part is powered by halogen bulbs of all things. What it means to me…? I can nuke left-over pizza and get crispy crust!!! That what I’m talking about… cut for many many photos of kitchen pr0n… -
yay! this sunday…
