welcome to the hole

Once upon a time, I kept a LiveJournal account, gryphons_hole, a deep, dark, comfy little hole in my brain where I kept notes on my life and queerness.
This is the archive to that account, mostly password protected, adult, queer content, stripped of photo content after the site restructured its photo hosting feature. I hope to restore that content as well.
If I know you, ask for the password. If I don’t, hope for a generous mood.
08.18.24 I have realized a need to continue in this space. A kink reawaking if you will, with content that may range into inappropriate for my other blog spaces.

on the continuing topic of bunnies…
One of my minions just delivered on her promise to visit the DAV Sunday Sale in my absence. You see, there was a black rabbit fur coat I was watching. It was going nowhere and was scheduled to be the twenty-five cent color tag this past Sunday, while I was off attending summer camp.
I just found it setting outside of my studio door.
I love my minions.
It goes perfectly with the white rabbit fur version I snagged a few weeks back. I wonder if checker board rabbit will be the rage on the runways this season…

and now a word from our sponsor…
Little bunny Foo-Foo,
hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head. Then down came the Good Fairy, and she said:
Little Bunny Foo-Foo,
I don’t wanna see you
Scooping up the field mice,
and bopping them on the head.
I now return you to our regularly scheduled program… -

the six million dollar dad
Okay, alright. Not nearly as many bionic implants, so I am sure it was much more affordable…
My dad had his knee replacement surgery Saturday morning.Early signs point to a great success, although when I spoke to him he was still doped on morphine, so of course everything was great! The only real concern is a limited range of moment in one of the new joints, but it is the leg that Dad busted his femur in two places last year. He hasn’t had much movement on that leg since. The doctor seems certain the short range of motion is due to loss of flexibility and muscle from disuse and seems to think it will be temporary.
I fly home for the new (to me) car in a few weeks. It’s doubtful that he will be home yet, so I will try to squeeze in a trip to see him. I will only be home for half a day before driving back to KCMO. It will be hurried and hectic, but, then, it is my family; it is what we do when together…
And yes! Absolutely!
I have every plan to make *tchew* *tchew* *tchew* noises every time I see Dad move around…
Just like Steve Austin.Everyone needs a theme song for their life, but sound effects are every bit as important.
