Once upon a time, I kept a LiveJournal account, gryphons_hole, a deep, dark, comfy little hole in my brain where I kept notes on my life and queerness.
This is the archive to that account, mostly password protected, adult, queer content, stripped of photo content after the site restructured its photo hosting feature. I hope to restore that content as well.

thrifty find-o-the-week
I stopped at a local charity thrift store on the way home from work earlier in the week. They have excellent dress shirts, often in my sleeve length so I try to stop in on a monthly basis…
I found this:
It needed a bit of cleaning but beyond that is in great condition. The strip inside for tie clips is in perfect shape. It is already mostly full… as I have been making do with various bins and boxes… I now have three jewelry boxes of similar look and purpose: the first is my dad’s gifted to me last holiday season; the second is a big two layer number, but newer and made of embossed paper instead of vinyl; and now this one…
The price? Fifty cents.

I couldn’t even bear the idea of removing the robe before the sweater, when the chills started.
I did get out to get more sherbet. Yay! And my doctor had samples for a partial dose of the med that I cannot afford. He said, unlike antibiotics, anti-virals can still help out not in full doses…
I feel better, but only marginally.
