I posted my first style post, at the time Sunday Style. The Sunday postings broke down after a bit and the images went up whenever I had them or the time to do it. I am fine with the nonchalant schedule of it all. I don’t want to miss life because I have to stop and stage photos…

So, Happy Anniversary!

My original anniversary concept has been called on account of the rain… Dammit. But it can post whenever I manage to get the photos, so I will tuck it away for a non-rainy day…

It has been some year!

What started as a couple of sportcoats and some ties has blossomed into OCD-threatening space. LOL My closet is busting at the seems with trousers, suits, vests, jackets, shirts and neckwear of endless variety. All for pennies on the dollar. Truly, the DAV is my style post sponsor, for they could not exist without the deals I find every Sunday.

The journey of mine into – what? – dandyism has been a hoot! (I am not sure I fully qualify for a dandy, I have a lot of variation and kink thrown in…) And it has cut in beautifully to all arenas of my life, especially my art, a fact which I love. Funny that thrift store clothes can play such a major part in bridging the gaps in my previously compartmentalized life. These clothes are the vehicle that bring all the aspects of my life in one beautiful massive convergence

Thank you all for coming along on this journey. Sometimes it has been trying and difficult, sometimes exhausting, sometimes as easy as grabbing a quick snapshot. But all of it has been rewarded and worth the effort. Although the structure and timing of the posts may change, I don’t expect these posts to stop. They have because the perfect form of documenting the events of my life.
