The City Museum in St. Loius has within The Shoelace Factory, a tiny shop filled with cast-iron machinery from the turn of the previous century that clickety-clack away all day braiding shoelaces of magnificent colors and patterns.
*Future me would like to add that this turns into a lvoely, on-going relationship between my wardrobe and their laces.
