A few weeks back, I had a clever idea about this weekend; something to share with <dakoopst>. A little theme as it were for the weekend. Technically, it started yesterday with Thanksgiving, but it actually being Thanksgiving, it was hard to notice…
Since I have to adorable, lovable dakoopst in my mitts until Monday, I decided I wanted to share as many holidays with him as I could. Yesterday was easy: everyone was in on it.
Today was Christmas.
We spent the afternoon traipsing about the West Bottoms, saw in hand, I knew where I could find the tree…
Here is my handsome lumberjack, hauling home the tree.
I know what you might be thinking, but I have a plan. Artsy fag here, remember?

We wired up the tree and decorated it together. I used some extras to dress a couple of chests. Set a few vignettes about the studio for the holidays. Do you remember the skull wreath…? It’s hanging outside the door. I should get some mileage from it, it’s the coolest one I ever made.
The tree (branch) is great fun!

How gay am I…? I am so gay that my holiday tree matches my studio; the drapes, the bed linens, the couch, the carpet, the dishes…
I am that gay.

Containers of extra glass garland beads and garlands and ornaments grace the fantastic dental cabinet that belongs to my studio-mate. Tres festive!

Afterward, we had cocoa and soaked in the glitz and glow and caught scenes from Moulin Rouge.
On the topic of How Gay… That scene with Jim Broadbent and the Duke…? Like a Virgin…? It very much reminds me of the Dress Me scene from The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. And it is more gay than me and my tree combined.
Just saying…
