Although I have many things in my life for which to be thankful, tonight I am most thankful for the opportunity to share Thanksgiving dinner with a seeming huge chunk of Queer history.
I am stunned.
It would seem my host is most connected to and in cahoots with a band of folks directly connected to people and events I personally consider a major influence in Queer culture and activism. The conversations were incredible and the walls were covered in posters and magazine covers and photos documenting our world through their involvements…

As much as I love my biological family, I am grateful for the skip in our traditional holiday gathering so that I was available to be here for this one.
