Tonight is a costume party.
One of the hosts was the event coordinator for this past BITO. They are both fun guys. It should be a great time. It’s kind of a pot luck set-up. I was sensible in my suggestion.
I am bringing jello shots. Duh!
Approximately 150 shots in two flavors: Swamp Ooze and Sweet Blood
Swamp Ooze is an alteration of the cocktail Swamp Water. Pineapple and peach jello with vodka and melon liquor. Because jello isn’t cloudy like juice, they don’t have that great pea soup look like the drink would, but they are tasty and still end up with a not so jello-ish dirty amber color.
Sweet Blood is a variant of a jello shot I designed on my own… Black cherry jello with vodka, amaretto and blackberry liquor. Tasty yum!
I should have asked the hosts how gay the party would be, meaning how nekkid I can be in my costume… I don’t really know what kind of crowd will be there, so I will aim for the middle. I am adding my leather pants, but will stay shirtless with just the cloak and harness under it.
Next week, I know I can plan to get as nekkid as I like as the evening progresses…
I should add that this round of jello was a real experiment. Last time, I borrowed David’s kitchen and frig. This time I made them here in the studio. I have no refrigerator space. So, I made the shots and stacked them in the cooler I will take to the party. I then placed the entire cooler into my chest freezer. Once they set up enough, I replaced the cooler lid to keep them from freezing…
Worked out beautifully…
