Okay, shopping for the weekend done. Don’t need much in way of food, since the run fee includes all meals except and early comer pot luck. BITO is in the air!
It has taken up to last minute to really feel jazzed about it. This year’s theme is Bear Blanket Bingo. I already got my two and a half boxes of Luau/Beach decorations pulled and packed. (Yeah, I’m that queer!)
Last year, I may have started something I will not be able to walk away from – ever! Two words… Jello. Shots. They were such a big hit. And they were lethal. Since no one has to drive anywhere, who cares about that. Tasy and strong. Good combo. I don’t know what mixture most other people use, but I use the one cup of hot water to dissolve the powder and replace the one cup of cold water with all the booze for the recipe. Yes, recipe. No vodka and this flavor, vodka and that flavor. I have five years of drink slinging under my belt, after all…
In keeping with this year’s theme, I have completed the menu for this years shots. Last year was more about what was on hand. This year is a better match.
